Our Wedding

John and Marissa’s story began twelve years ago, at the end of their senior year of high school, when they were first introduced through Marissa’s brother, James. As John and James quickly became close friends, John naturally spent more time around Marissa as well. That summer was filled with easy conversations, shared laughs, and memories made before they both set off on their college journeys.	Over the years, they continued to cross paths during college breaks with their mutual group of friends. Though their time together was occasional, a quiet fondness grew between them, one built on familiarity, comfort, and genuine friendship.	In the fall of 2019, Marissa moved back to Long Island to begin her internship at Stony Brook University, bringing her and John back into each other’s everyday lives. With more time spent together at dinners, gatherings, and celebrations, their connection deepened, and feelings that had once gone unnoticed began to blossom.	That November, John took a leap of faith and asked Marissa out on a date. To his surprise and delight, she happily accepted, suggesting a dinner at a sushi restaurant. Though both were nervous, having only ever spent time together in group settings, they quickly realized their worries were unnecessary. The chemistry was undeniable, and from that evening on, everything fell into place.	The rest, as they say, is history and the beginning of forever!

Wedding Day Timeline

For our special day, we invite guests to dress in formal attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits (with tuxedos reserved for the groom and wedding party). Ladies are invited to wear elegant dresses that fall below the knee.To help our wedding party shine, we kindly ask that light pink and burgundy be left for them to enjoy.Thank you for helping us create a beautiful and memorable celebration, we can’t wait to see you!
